For those of us who attended the school of Hard Knocks, we present the Hard Knox cap. No gown necessary.
This one: navy blue waffle quilted with a green wool blend.
Every Hard Knox is quilted from two complementary fabrics, with the buttonholes and pockets of its former life left showing on purpose, and edges left frayed the way honest work leaves them. The hardships and the hard lessons become character and patina. No two students, and no two caps, are alike.
We may be rough around the edges, but damn, we turned out good.
